The Brown County Agriculture Museum is home to many different features of life on the farm.  Some of the exhibits include a miniature farm, a train caboose, a collection of antique tractors, antique gas powered engines, and the famous "Windmill Lane."

Directly south of the courthouse you will find the Brown County Historical Society Museum in the Hiawatha Memorial Auditorium. The building was erected in 1920 and was the first auditorium and meeting hall to be built in Hiawatha. The Brown County Historical Society was established in 1978 from the numerous donations of time and money from the people of Brown County, this beautiful building and the museum it houses are here for the enjoyment, pleasure and use of the citizens of Brown County and all who would like to visit it.
