- Pledge of Allegiance/Call to Order
The Hiawatha City Commission met on Friday May 26, 2006 at 5:00 p.m. with Mayor Gernon, Commissioner Collins, Commissioner Schmitt, and Commissioner Gamble present.
- Discussion of non-elected personnel, for city administrator
Commissioner Collins made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Gamble, to move into executive session for the purpose of discussing non-elected personnel. Motion carried, 4 ayes. Executive Session began at 5 p.m.
Commissioner Shamburg entered the meeting a few minutes after the executive session began.
Commissioner Schmitt made a motion seconded by Commissioner Gamble, to return to regular session at 7:15 p.m. Motion carried, 5 ayes

Commissioner Shamburg made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Gamble, to adjourn at 7:16 p.m. Motion carried, 5 ayes.
