2. Approval of the Minutes of the May 4, 2007, Special City Commission meeting.

3. Approval of the Minutes of the May 14, 2007, City Commission meeting.

4. CONSENT AGENDA

a. Appropriation Ordinance #1121 in the amount of $41,581.76.

b. Approve Utility Refunds in the amount of $363.92.

c. Approve Monthly Report of Municipal Judge for April 2007.

5. Presentation of petitions, public comments and memorials.

a.. Recognize Laura Tollefson who passed a significant milestone in length of service.

Old Business

6. Consider adopting a Charter Ordinance exempting the City of Hiawatha from the provisions of Section 14-1308 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated relating to the meetings of the Board of Commissioners of a City of the Second Class.

New Business

7. Consider adopting a resolution fixing the time and place and providing notice of hearing to appear and show cause why such structures located at 812 Cherokee should not be condemned and ordered repaired, demolished or removed or made safe.

8. Consider waiving the City ordinances that prohibit camping in the City parks and prohibit open burning to allow the Cub Scouts to camp on the soccer fields at Bruning Park and to have a campfire at said campout on the parking lot area in a fire pit ring.

9. Review website redesign bids and consider approval for low bidder Spinnaker LLC – Mike Burgess to redesign and update the City’s website.

10. Consider adopting a resolution to close the Hiawatha Airport.
