Accepting Applications for 2010 Summer Employment
Applications available at City Hall.
The City of Hiawatha is accepting applications for summer employment. Positions of pool manager, assistant pool manager, lifeguards and concession clerks are available. For positions of pool manager and assistant pool manager applicants must be a High School graduate, have lifeguard certification or be able to obtain certification. Lifeguards and concession applicants should be at least 16 years of age and have a valid Kansas Drivers license. Also taking applications for Summer mowing crew for Parks Department, these applicants must be 18 years of age or older. All applicants may be subject to drug and alcohol testing. Applications are available at City Hall, 723 Oregon Street, between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday thru Friday. Deadline for applications is Monday, March 1, 2010 at 5:00 pm. EOE.
