 Old Business

4.      Review Dump Truck Lease Purchase Options.

Administrator Ladner explained that as requested by the Commission last week, each of the companies that had bid on the dump truck have submitted four and five-year lease information for consideration. The prices for the trucks remain constant. The only variables are interest rate, four or five-year term and whether or not to include a down payment.

Freightliner was still the lowest overall cost and annual payment at $18,477.30 for a four-year term and $15,171.31 for a five-year term with no down payment on either option.

Administrator Ladner said that the Street Department currently had $20,000 set aside for a truck, which they had planned on using to trade in one of the pickups this year. This money could be used for a lease payment on a new dump truck instead.

Due to not having a full commission present, further action was tabled until next week.
