Specifications
The City of Hiawatha intends to contract for a period of two (2) years to commence on January 1, 2009 for the care and boarding of animals picked up by the City of Hiawatha Animal Control Officer and the Hiawatha Police Department.
The proposed care and boarding specifications:
1. Feed animals brought in by Animal Control and the Hiawatha Police Department
2. Board animals overnight for a period of not more than five (5) days or until animal owner claims animal
3. After five (5) days if animal is not claimed euthanize and dispose of animal
Bid forms can be picked up at City Hall during regular business hours.
